Fifth Floor Restaurant

The Fifth Floor had a number of challenges to overcome. It was located “on the wrong side of the tracks” in San Francisco’s SOMA district and on the fifth floor of Hotel Palomar. In addition to location issues, the building’s other tenant disputed the proposed signage. To overcome these obstacles, we had to create a paradigm shift.

To begin with we did away with a sign! Then we convinced the highly sought after Chef George Morrone to come aboard, and recruited Raj Par (currently Wine Director for Michael Mina Restaurants) as Sommelier. We hired and trained an exceptional team to provide the highest quality service.

The results? Reservations were booked sixty days out. Fifth Floor became one of the most successful restaurants in the city, a Four Star Restaurant by its first anniversary.
